After that we send off the housing and retaining nut, also made in-house, to get Yellow Zinc plated. Once back from plating the assembly team will press in a Custom Teflon lined Stainless Steel spherical bearing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis isn't an off the shelf bearing like most companies use, this is a Custom preloaded bearing made to Steeda's specs. This insures the quietest operation available with minimum deflection and constant pinion angles with high horsepower applications.
