UPR 79-93 Pro Series 1" Shorter Chrome Moly Adjustable Tubular A Arms are fully Tig welded and the safest and strongest units available in the industry with their .095 wall design. Lighter and stronger than any of our top competitors A-arms without even the Slightest Sacrifice in integrity or strength. These Arms are 1" shorter for drag applications that use aftermarket brakes that tend to push the tires out too far. The shorter arms bring the front tires & wheels back in where they belong. Our tubular A arms also come with high quality ball joints with zerk fittings for easy maintenance. FOR USE WITH UPR K MEMBERS ONLY. Q & A
Question: What is the reason for having a 1" shorter A arms?
Answer: Some aftermarket brake kits push the wheel & tire outside of the fender opening. Also some larger aftermarket brakes require the use of a wheel spacer to clear the calipers so the shorter A arm would offset that to bring the wheel & tire back to where it belongs.
Question: Can I use these on a 94-04 Mustang?
Answer: They will bolt up but the regular 79-93 a arm is already shorter than the 94-04 so if you use a 1" shorter arm it will pull the tire and wheel in nearly 2". Our regular 79-93 would be the best option to bring the tire back in to it's normal location.
Question: How come there is no sway bar mount?
Answer: Typically drag racers are the customers requesting these style arms and they do not run a sway bar up front. We do have these arms available with sway bar mounts.
Question: Do I have to use a coil over kit with these A arms?
Answer: Yes you do. There is no spring pocket on these arms to be able to use a factory style spring in them.
