UPR Extreme Series Double Adjustable Race Uppers set the industry standard for race upper control arms in 1998 and haven't looked back. 1/4" thick Chrome Moly formed boxes with upper and lower gussets that will now outlast even the strongest 7second 200MPH Drag Radial and Outlaw Mustangs making in excess of 2500+HP. The 4130 Chrome Moly threaded adjuster system allows these bars to be fully in car adjustable on the fly or between rounds in the lanes. Billet 6061 aluminum bushings and high strength performance alloy heim joints complete these arms. All of our Suspension Products are made with the Highest Quality materials and most expensive components. Q & A
Question: Do I really need adjustable upper control arms?
Answer: It depends on what your intentions are with the car. When you lower a car the pinion angle changes, which can introduce vibrations in the driveshaft and or put the pinion angle out of it's optimal range depending on how much the car is lowered. You can also adjust pinion angle depending on the type of tire you are using at the track
Question: What does double adjustable mean?
Answer: Single adjustable arms have to be unbolted front one end in order to adjusted. Double adjustable means you can adjust the length while the arm is bolted into place.
Question: Why do these come with 1/2" hardware instead of 12mm?
Answer: The factory holes are slightly bigger than 12mm and over time and with abuse they get even bigger. The 1/2" hardware will either slide right in or require chasing the hole with a drill bit but then gives you a perfect hole without any play.
